About Our Speaker:

Michael Pochet spent over 20 years as a USAF acquisition officer. His assignments covered all levels of the acquisition spectrum, with his most memorable assignments as a Space Launch operations officer at Vandenberg AFB, Nuclear Detection program manager at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and as an Assistant Professor at the Air Force Institute of Technology teaching Satellite Communication & microelectronics courses. Following his military retirement from the Air Force Research Laboratory as the lead for Microelectronics Anti-Tamper technology development, he took on a civilian role leading the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Electronic Warfare Hardware in the Loop test Facility within the Sensors Directorate’s Spectrum Warfare Division. He is currently serving as the Chief of the Sensors Directorate’s Spectrum Warfare Division.

Dr. Pochet has a PhD from the University of New Mexico and BS from Virginia Tech, both in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Pochet completed deployments to Qatar and Iraq, where he led the operational testing of AFRL-developed sensing technologies.
