Celebrating Innovation at Miami Valley CTC Regional Science Day
A Day Dedicated to Student Discovery and Achievement
The Miami Valley Career Technology Center Regional Science Day brings together student researchers from Clark, Greene, Montgomery, and Preble counties for a meaningful day of scientific exploration, presentation, and recognition. Hosted by Miami Valley Career Technology Center, this event gives students the opportunity to apply critical thinking, research methods, technological design, and investigative skills through hands-on science projects.
Students participating in Regional Science Day do far more than build projects. They learn how to gather and analyze data, maintain research logs, draw conclusions, organize their work, and communicate their ideas clearly. The experience helps foster creativity, independence, collaboration, and academic excellence while connecting students with others who share an interest in science and innovation.

2026 Event Information
The 2026 Regional Science Day at Miami Valley CTC was held on March 14, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, at Miami Valley Career Technology Center, 6800 Hoke Rd, Clayton, Ohio 45315. The event included student check-in, judging, public viewing of posters, and an awards ceremony to celebrate the outstanding work of participating students.
